Vision Screenings

The New Jersey Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired will be providing free vision screenings for our preschool students on December 4th. The screenings will be conducted by a screener from the Commission and me. We will be testing distance vision, amblyopia (lazy eye) and color deficiency (formerly known as color blindness). No medications or eye drops will be administered at any time.

If any visual disturbances are detected, the screener will make a referral at the time of the screening.

Any child who is in need of eye care and cannot afford it or does not have medical insurance may be eligible for further services by the Commission for the Blind.

Our Kindergarten kids participated in this screening on September 24th and did an amazing job!
